CASTING ANNOUNCED!
We are pleased to reveal that our Carole King in London will be played by actress and singer-songwriter Katie Brayben! Katie is currently plaing Princess Diana in King Charles III at Wyndhams Theatre in the West End, and was previously seen in American Psycho: A new musical thriller at the Almeida Theatre. Joining Katie on stage will be Alan Morrissey playing King’s husband and song-writing partner Gerry Goffin, Lorna Want as song-writer Cynthia Weil, Glynis Barber, best known for playing Harriet Makepeace in Dempsey and Makepeace, as Genie Klein, King’s mother, and Gary Trainor as music publisher and producer Don Kirshner. Further casting will be announced shortly.
